Leave your favorite fancy outfit at home and kick up some dirt on the rugged terrain of O’ahu! This ain't your granny’s sightseeing tour – it’s a mud-flinging, adrenaline-pumping ride over the hills and berms of the great Coral Crater. Your expert guide will give you the lowdown on safety before you strap in and follow them into the heart of the jungle for an epic off-road journey!
We guarantee you'll get dirty, but we can't guarantee mud. We're working hard to be able to control when it rains and when it doesn't, but haven't cracked that nut yet.
Our ATV tours in O'ahu are led by our team of fun, expert guides to make sure you stay safe and get to see all the coolest parts of the crater. There’s a portion of the course where you can let loose a little more around a funky berm, but for the most part it’s follow-the-leader. We’ve got some pretty gnarly terrain in many spots (which makes it more fun), so that means we need to keep you at 20mph max.
No. Most definitely not. If you drive responsibly, you will not crash an ATV. If you drive recklessly, you will be removed from the tour. If you crash before your guide can remove you from the tour, you will be responsible for all damage to the vehicle and will not be refunded the cost of your tour.
The 2-Seater ATVs are four-wheel vehicles that drive like cars and are what you probably think of when you think about ATVs. The EzRaider Stand-Up ATVs are more like heavy-duty motorized scooters. They are e-vehicles made for one person to operate and are constructed to military-grade specifications.
As with any tour or service, it is customary to tip your guides if you are pleased with your service. Typically, 10-15% gratuity is adequate. Guides accept cash, Venmo, PayPal or Cash App for gratuity. Coral Crater does not accept tips on behalf of guides.
Bookings canceled with 24 or more hours notice are refunded in full. Any reservation canceled with less than 24 hours notice will not be refunded.
Yes, we do! All lockers are digital, so no need to carry keys during your activity. The largest locker can fit a large suitcase. Locker payments are taken by credit card only at the kiosk, but if you only have cash, you can rent a locker at the gift shop and the staff will open it for you. Rates start at $5 for two hours use of the small lockers.
Our courses surpass the Association for Challenge Course (ACCT) standards and pre-use inspections on both the safety equipment and course occur daily. Extensive training for our guides is provided by Synergo, a Professional Vendor Member (PVM) of the ACCT. Synergo also completes our periodic course inspections. As with all activities, there are inherent risks associated with Zipline, the Adventure Tower, and off-road ATVs.
